Grade Fours will be on a field trip to participate in the program, Becoming a Botanists at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary tomorrow. Please ensure that your child has a packed lunch, a water bottle, a hat and a jacket. This will be a full day field trip with students leaving at 9:00 am and returning at 3:00.
Social Studies: The grade 4's in Ms.Bly's class worked very hard to publish their book "A is for Alberta". They worked as a team to research and write a report on an Albertan item for each letter of the alphabet. They added poems and illustrations to complete the book. If any of the students are interested in a book of their own please email me.

Fitness!
Grade 4 students have been recording their fitness improvements over the course of the past few months. Every few weeks, students run through their checks independently, record their findings, and report on their improvements. Have a look at your child's Iris page to see some of the exercises they are working on.
Art!
Grade 4s have been working on a few different art projects:
For Mother's Day, the students created unique flowers using different pastel techniques such as blending and smudging.
Students learned about symmetry in math class. They used those concepts to create kaleidoscope art featuring their own names.
