Carla MacLeod Visit

Carla MacLeod visited the school today to give the students an inspirational talk about trying hard to achieve goals. The students heard about her journey to Olympic gold, saw her medals and spent time learning about the obstacles she needed to preserver through. Spend some time discussing the the visit with your child.

Wonder - Mr Brown's Precepts

The grade 4s in room 10 are doing a novel study of Wonder by R.J. Palacio. We have been discussing some important quotes that come up in the novel. The quotes are listed below. Spend some time discussing these quotes with your children.

Spirit day

Tomorrow is dress as your favorite character day. This could be from a movie, book or cartoon.

Friday is a poetry contest for grade 4,5 and 6.  We are working on this in class for our poetry unit but feel free to write some at home as well.
