Light and Shadow

The grade 4's had a guest speaker in yesterday to demonstrate how the understanding of light and shadow is used and important in the real world.  Lisa Bannerman from the Calgary Science Network came in to speak about her work as a Optician and her husband's work as an Ophthalmologist.  She demonstrated the importance of many concepts studied in our unit and how to relates to the human eye.
